SUNY Delhi is seeking a Head Women’s Varsity Basketball Coach to be responsible for all aspects of running a successful competitive program including academic supervision of student-athletes and recruiting and retention of quality female student-athletes. The candidate will conduct all practice sessions using the finest up-to-date coaching techniques, as well as promoting the Student Athletic code of conduct. In addition must maintain an accurate up-to-date Women’s Basketball Athletic Department website and promote SUNY Delhi Women’s Basketball through local media, regional and national service bureaus as well as Alumni events.
The successful candidate will also serve as an assistant coach to another athletic team TBD, assist with coordinating an intramural activity, teach one physical education class per semester, assist with home game day athletic event management, transport athletes to away contests as assigned and supervision of student fitness center employees when needed in addition to attending department and division staff meetings.
