Southern Illinois University Carbondale is an NCAA Division I member of the Missouri Valley Conference. Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall success, performance, and conduct of the Women’s Basketball program in the areas of academics, athletics and student athlete conduct, and the recruitment, growth and development of student athletes; Supervising, planning and coordinating all activities of the Basketball team/program; Promoting all aspects of the Basketball program, the Athletics Department, and Southern Illinois University through marketing and public relations activities; Understanding of and compliance to rules and regulations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, Missouri Valley Conference, Southern Illinois University and all other governing bodies relative to the position. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and collegiate coaching experience at the Division I or II level Appointment: 12-month term, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
