Reports directly to the Director of Athletics and must subscribe to the SIUE Principles Governing Athletics. Responsible for the organization and administration of the Women’s Basketball Program. Effectively manages all assistant coaches and staff. Develop effective and positive communication with the students, faculty, alumni, and community. Responsible for coaching, recruiting, team travel, fund raising, and all other areas of Women’s Basketball Operations (benchmark expectations will be identified). Must comply with University, NCAA Division I, and Departmental rules, standards, and regulations. Must work cooperatively and responsibly with other departmental personnel. Responsible for operating within the budgetary limitations of the program. Must support the student-athlete concept and demonstrate concern for the health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete. Will take an active leadership role in fundraising and public relations activities for the Women’s Basketball Program and also the Athletics Department as a whole.
