Head Women’s Basketball Coach/Instructor for Division II women’s basketball program. Full-time, 9-month position (mid-August to mid-May) with State benefits. The successful candidate will lead, organize and manage a program with a rich history of success both on and off the court. The characteristics and abilities of this candidate will include: visionary leadership; successful recruiting relationships; recruiting, retaining and growing high quality student athletes who are committed to success both on and off the court; working with coaches, staff and administrators in a collaborative manner; planning all aspects of the team including developing the skill set of the student athletes, sound fiscal management of team, fundraising and scholarship budget management; retaining and growing a passionate fan base; being adept in branding and use of social media; promoting the program through media outlets; supervising and evaluating assistant coaching staff; a commitment to contributing to the academic community through instruction and support. Teach in Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sports Department and serve on committees, assist with accreditation processes and programmatic review. 75% basketball coaching and 25% teaching.
