Description:
Lincoln University of Missouri, a Division II member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach.The Head Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible for all aspects in leading a competitive NCAA Division II women’s basketball program to include, but not limited to: coaching (practice and in game), recruiting fund-raising, positive encouragement towards student-athlete development, scheduling non-conference opponents, hiring and supervising assistant coaches and graduate assistants. Successfully organize and implement a recruiting plan. Implement and maintain standards of performance consistent with departmental, academic, and athletic expectations. Serve as primary budget manager for program operations. Conduct all aspects of the program within the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Lincoln University and the MIAA Conference. Participate in departmental meetings and service on committees and advisory boards. Encourage and administer community service activities to benefit both on-campus and off-campus communities.
Collegiate basketball and/or coaching experience and ability to transfer the knowledge and skills gainted to student-athletes. In depth knowledge and understanding of conference and NCAA rules and regulations. Strong written and orgal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Proven trackrecord of consistently modeling positive behavieros at all times. Strong follow-up -through skills as well as ability to plan, organize and control projects through to cmopleteion. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Bachelor’s Degree required. A Master’s
