The Head Coach of Women’s Basketball is responsible for various aspects of the Women’s Basketball program, such as recruiting, scheduling opponents, training, and coaching team members. The Head Coach of Women’s Basketball is required to develop a quality, competitive women’s basketball team as well as establish policies and procedures that support the educational goals and academic success of student-athletes. The Head Coach is to provide strategic leadership in support of the program’s goals in alignment with the College’s mission, vision and strategic plan; to abide by the rules and regulations established by LaGrange College and the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association). The Head Coach will supervise and mentor graduate assistant; develop and manage operating budgets for the program; and participates in appropriate fund-raising activities.
