Responsible for the direction and development of a nationally competitive Division I Women’s Basketball program at Kennesaw State University (KSU).

Perform a variety of functions including, but not limited to, the following: recruitment, coaching, budget management, purchasing equipment and uniforms, scheduling of games and practices, public relations and fundraising. Fully responsible for the academic achievement, retention and graduation of each student-athlete on the roster. Assume a leadership role in department-wide priorities and initiatives. Supervisor a coaching staff consisting of assistant coaches, director of operations and/or graduate assistant(s) as allowed by the NCAA and KSUAA budget. Organize, supervise, coordinate and employ sound coaching techniques and practices. Participate in university and Department of Athletics events as required. Have a thorough knowledge of and commitment to compliance with all NCAA, Atlantic Sun Conference, State of Georgia and university policies, rules and regulations. Prepare student-athletes physically, mentally, and emotionally to compete for conference championships and post-season competition. Create an atmosphere favorable to the ethical, academic and athletic development of student-athletes. Other duties as assigned by the Program Administrator and/or Director of Athletics.
