Grays Harbor College is accepting applications for a women’s basketball coach. This position works with the Director of Athletics, athletic commissioners and campus departments to ensure compliance with all NWAACC rules and regulations in areas including but not limited to: recruiting, eligibility, schedules and travel, and preparing athletes for competition.
Examples of Duties:
– Conducting a basketball program in accordance with established conference rules and regulations and keeping updated on all eligibility rules and regulations
– Supervising players and coaches
– Recruiting quality student-athletes
– Arranging season schedule in cooperation with Director of Athletics
– Ensuring proper condition of equipment and fields
– Planning and conducting practices
– Developing and implementing off-season conditioning program
– Proposing budget and monitoring expenditures
– Completion and processing of appropriate paperwork
– Aid in the academic achievements of the student-athletes
