Responsible for all aspects of directing the intercollegiate Women’s Basketball program including: creating a safe and an overall successful positive environment for the student-athletes; determining the annual goals for the Women’s Basketball program: developing and implementing current strategies for the successful recruiting of qualified student athletes to the program: develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the Intercollegiate Athletics staff in order to execute job responsibilities and duties in a timely manner, including, but not limited to, the Athletics administrative personnel.
Actively recruit qualified student athletes who have an interest in one of the University’s academic programs. Provide fundamental and advanced instruction of basketball techniques and philosophy to student-athletes. Promote the basketball program and pursue opportunities to fundraise resources outside of the University budget. Develop relationships within the University to promote the basketball program and the student athlete concept: develop relationships within the community to promote the basketball program; develop and execute fundraising activities in conjunction with the activities (summer camps, clinics, etc.) to promote the basketball program.
