Description:	Provide leadership in the academic, personal, and athletic development of student-athletes at Dixie State University. Direct and coordinate all activities of the Women’s Basketball staff (full- and part-time and volunteers) in the planning, organizing, and coaching of the Dixie State Women’s Basketball team; ensure compliance by all coaches, with University, Conference, and NCAA procedures and regulations. Create an atmosphere and recruit student-athletes for the program that fit the Dixie State University and NCAA Division II philosophy for athletics. Initiate Women’s Basketball team-specific fund raising programs. Determine fiscal requirements and recommend budget to athletic administration. Monitor, verify, and reconcile expenditures of budgeted funds. Purchase and maintain team equipment. Inspect practice facilities and equipment regularly. Serve as preliminary contact for scheduling of all Women’s Basketball games. Coordinate schedule through proper channels in the Athletic Department. Support fund raising responsibilities within the athletic department and be an active member of the Southern Utah community. Monitor academic progress of student-athletes. Guide and supervise student-athletes related to dormitory living and campus regulations. Provide reports and information concerning the Women’s Basketball program as required. Aid and assist the members of the institution in any aspect of NCAA compliance. Other duties as assigned
