Description:	The Head Women’s Basketball Coach will be responsible for administering all of the year-round activities of the women’s basketball program including revenue generation and community engagement. The Head Coach is responsible for administering all facets of the women’s basketball program relating to practice organization, game day management and preparation, player evaluation and recruiting of prospective student athletes. This individual supervises student-athletes in academic, community engagements as well as other athletic endeavors throughout the year. The Head Coach is responsible for evaluating and determining priorities for the sport with regards to budget preparation, equipment purchases and scheduling. The Head Coach must demonstrate the ability to manage a designated budget through qualitative and quantitative analysis. The Head coach must demonstrate concern for academic pursuits by adherence to department and University academic policies, as well as initiation of personal academic goals for each student-athlete. The Head Coach will select, train, evaluate, supervise and mentor assistant coaches. This requires the ability to delegate responsibility and manage those people in completing assigned tasks. The Head Coach must adhere to all policies and procedures of the University, Mid-eastern Athletic Conference and NCAA. This position requires the performance of any additional duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.
