This full-time, twelve-month position provides a head coach for the women’s basketball program in athletics. This position will provide overall organization and management of the women’s basketball program. The primary purpose of this position is to coach student athletes including; coaching team practices and games, developing student athlete skills, building understanding of the game, game preparation, strategy, teamwork and conditioning. A major role is the mentoring of student athletes; including academic support and advisement and providing life skills training.

Administrative duties include; game scheduling, coordinating travel; planning and monitoring the women’s basketball budget, managing summer camps, monitoring NCAA compliance, promoting the women’s basketball program on campus and in the community of Pueblo, and developing fund raising opportunities for the women’s basketball program.
