The College of New Rochelle invites applications for the position of Head Women’s Basketball Coach. CNR is a Division III member institution of the NCAA and competes in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Head Women’s Basketball Coach is a key member of the College’s intercollegiate athletics staff, and she/he will be responsible for administering all aspects of the women’s basketball team. Duties include but are not limited to: recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes, practice and performance preparation, scheduling, travel, budgeting, monitoring of student-athletes’ athletic and academic development, and rules compliance. Candidates must be willing to work nights and weekends.

The Head Women’s Basketball Coach must conduct him/herself in accordance with the mission of the Athletics department and the CNR Athletic Code of Conduct, as well as the constitution and by-laws of the NCAA and member conferences/associations.

The Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of previous successful coaching experience (preferably at the women’s collegiate level) is preferred. Must have a clear understanding of the NCAA Division III philosophy and regulations, as well as knowledge of DIII rules. Must possess current First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Must have valid driver’s license and meet the College’s requirements to drive athletic vans.
