Anderson University invites applications for Head Coach, Women’s Basketball. Anderson University is a comprehensive, liberal arts institution whose 300 athletes and 16 teams compete in the NCAA Division II, within the South Atlantic Conference. Anderson University is affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention and candidates with a strong Christian value system and lifestyle are encouraged to apply. The Head Coach for Women’s Basketball reports directly to the Athletic Director and is responsible for coaching, recruiting, and program management activities as they relate to the Women’s Basketball program. Additional administrative responsibilities include managing the departmental budget, game preparations, community and public relations, fundraising, and other recordkeeping and documentation duties as needed. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) from an accredited College or University. Division II coaching experience preferred and demonstrated familiarity with NCAA governing rules required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well within a team, and good organizational skills are required.
