Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University is seeking qualified applicants for a Graduate Assistant with the women’s basketball program. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

-Assist with the day to day operations of the program.

-Coordinate hiring, training and scheduling of a four person student-manager staff.

-Assist with the entry of recruiting information and data into program database.

-Assist support staff with implementation and execution of team travel and gameday logistics.

-Individual will assist with the development, marketing, administration and implementation of summer camps.

-Assist with the coordination of the setup and breakdown of facilities for daily practices.

-Individual will assist with the ordering and inventory maintenance of all equipment.

-Assist with maintaining an atmosphere of compliance within the women’s basketball program and athletic department as a whole.

-Other duties as assigned by Head Coach.

-Starting date is approximately August 15th.
