The Graduate Assistant for Women’s Basketball is responsible for assisting with the overall  management of the Women’s Basketball program. The primary responsibility of the graduate  assistant is to provide full support of the program to which the individual is assigned and  assisting with other day-to-day operations. The Graduate Assistant for Women’s Basketball will  report directly to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

• Help prepare for workouts/practices/Scouts
• Assist players in player development
• Observe study halls for players on the team
• Assist the head coach and assistant coach with any work they assign.
• Position may require working with sports camps as needed.
• Work with food orders
• Conduct research as assigned.

Other Duties & Responsibilities: 

• It can be expected the individual will work at times other than, or in addition to, normal  business hours and days, including attendance at numerous evening and weekend athletic  events.
• As a part of the job responsibilities associated with this position, knowledge of rules and  regulations set forth by the USCAA/NAIA should be maintained, reviewed and practiced  ensuring compliance relative to those applicable duties.
• Must have the ability to interpret and communicate university policy and procedures as  well as other associated regulations
• Must maintain professionalism and confidentially at all times.
• Must have integrity and a commitment to the students’ athletic/academic excellence.
