Hope International University in Southern California is seeking qualified applicants for a women’s basketball graduate assistant position for the 2019-21 academic years. This position will be responsible for assisting the women’s basketball coach in the areas of recruiting, planning and implementing practice sessions, scouting and film breakdown, planning and implementation of community service and fundraising activities, oversight of student-athlete academic achievement, overall administration of the varsity and junior varsity basketball teams, and other responsibilities as assigned by the head coach and/or Director of Athletics.

Any candidate that is considered for the position must have their bachelor’s degree and be accepted into a graduate program at Hope International University before an offer can be officially extended. Experience playing college basketball or coaching at the high school or college level is a plus. This position must pass a background check. There is no stipend, and the compensation for this full-time position is tuition coverage.
