Eastern University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a two-year position in conjunction with The Eastern University Masters Program. The successful candidate will be a graduate student taking a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester. The assistant is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of running a competitive and successful program in accordance with Eastern University and NCAA Division III rules and regulations. Duties will include, but are not limited to, identifying and recruiting potential student athletes, on floor coaching during practices and games, scouting of opponents, coordinating the film exchange program, and monitoring student athlete academic progress.  Candidates must be self-motivated, positive, energetic, eager to teach and willing to travel to recruit.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree. Prior coaching and/or playing experience is necessary. Position includes tuition remission for the master’s degree program and a small stipend.  Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until position is filled.
