The University of Mount Olive (UMO) Graduate Assistant Coach in the sport of  women’s basketball is a 10 -month position starting in the fall semester, August 1,  2024 (August 1 – May 31). The Graduate Assistant Coach reports directly to the  Head Coach, who directs the Women’s Basketball program the Graduate  Assistant coaching responsibilities include planning, recruiting, coaching,  developing, implementing, communicating, and administering with the Head  Coach. The Graduate Assistant Coach will administer with the Head Coach all  aspects of the program in accordance with NCAA, Conference Carolinas, and  University rules and regulations. This individual plays a significant role in helping  the University and Department of Athletics achieve its academic and athletic  objectives.

• The institution covers tuition and a $3,000 stipend
• Housing, Fees and or books are the responsibility of the graduate assistant

Graduate program will take two years to complete and position will be required to  maintain criteria to remain in graduate program. Evaluated after each semester.

Qualifications are as follows:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
2. Background in the sport of basketball at the high school or collegiate level.
3. Must apply and be accepted in to the University’s MBA graduate school program.
