Trevecca Nazarene University, located in Nashville, TN seeks a graduate assistant to assist the Head Women’s Basketball Coach in all aspects of a NCAA Division II women’s basketball program, serving as an assistant coach. The graduate assistant coach is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by Trevecca Nazarene University and the NCAA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: – NCAA rules compliance – Recruiting qualified student-athletes – Assisting with all aspects of practice and game preparation – Scouting and assisting in developing game plans – Coordinating the film exchange program – Monitoring student-athlete’s academic progress and conducting team study tables – Using video editing system to break down film – Coordinating travel arrangements – Game-day responsibilities – Assisting with day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks – Representing Trevecca Nazarene University and the Women’s Basketball program in a professional manner.
