The Northwest Missouri State University women’s basketball program is seeking a qualified individual for a graduate assistantship. Compensation for this position includes tuition waiver (excluding fees), a yearly stipend of $ 6,000.
Responsibilities will include assisting the head coach with all areas of the women’s basketball program including coaching, recruiting, fundraising and academic monitoring and other duties related to the sport of basketball as assigned by the head or assistant coach. Additionally the GA will be required to teach various activity classes and attend all department (HHS and Athletic) meetings.
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2.75 GPA), be fully admitted to Graduate School and the HHS Graduate Program, have at least a 280 combined GRE score (verbal and quantitative).
Preferred qualifications will include previous college playing experience.
