Eastern University is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our Women’s Basketball program as a Graduate Assistant. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in collegiate athletics while pursuing your graduate education.

Responsibilities:

Assist the coaching staff in all aspects of the Women’s Basketball program.

Support the head coach in organizing and conducting practices and game strategies. Assist in player development, including individual skill sessions and team workouts. Aid in scouting opponents and analyzing game footage for strategic purposes.

Assist with recruiting efforts, including evaluating potential student-athletes and organizing campus visits.

Provide support during team travel and other program-related activities.

Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the coaching staff.

Qualifications:

Must be accepted into a graduate program at Eastern University.

Strong passion for basketball and knowledge of the game.

Previous playing or coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

As a Graduate Assistant for the Women’s Basketball Team at Eastern University, you will receive the following compensation package:

18 credits of tuition remission per academic year.

Stipend for living expenses.
