Cleveland State University (CSU) is seeking a qualified applicant for Graduate Assistant Coach in Women’s Basketball. This is a 12-month appointment with the opportunity of renewal after the first year. CSU is a NCAA Division I institution that supports 18 varsity sports. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all areas including but not limited to: coaching, individual workouts, administrative duties, preparations and film breakdown. Must have knowledge of computer systems and programs such as Synergy and Photoshop. Must have knowledge of social media including, but not limited to twitter, Instagram, facebook, snapchat, etc.

This position will report directly to the Head Coach and is expected to adhere to NCAA and Horizon League regulations as well as the policies and procedures set forth by the CSU Athletic Department.

All staff members are expected to model a high level of character, self-discipline and integrity which is associated with all members of the Women’s Basketball program.

Consideration for Graduate Assistantships is given only to applicants who plan to earn the graduate degree at CSU. Candidates must have a scholastic record above average, athletic experience, and appropriate recommendations.

Salary:

Paid Appointment and Tuition Waiver

Academic Year: Paid appointment; 18 hours tuition waiver

One Semester: Paid appointment; 9 hours tuition waiver

Semester Stipend: Two equal enstalments: One (1) in Fall Semester and (1) one in Spring Semester.
