Bethany College is a national liberal arts college located on a beautiful and historic 1,300 acre mountaintop campus in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia, 39 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. Bethany College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Intern, Women’s Basketball program. This position will report to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Main duties will include coordination of recruiting, fundraising and coordination of strength and conditioning. Additional duties will be assigned by the Head Coach or the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, playing experience at the collegiate level or previous coaching experience and a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany, NCAA Division III, and Presidents’ Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required. Compensation includes a stipend, room and board and a graduate school tuition waiver for Bethany’s MAT program. The selected candidate must be enrolled in Bethany’s MAT program as a condition of employment. Start date for this position is August 2015.
