Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with recruiting, skills development, practices, games and other facets of the program. This position also has responsibilities in residential life that include assisting the director of residential life and housing coordinators in the general welfare of all students living in the dormitory.

Qualifications include previous high school or collegiate level coaching experience required. Possess the ability to deal in a superior fashion with the criteria established under the category “Duties/Responsibilities.” Must possess maturity and good character and the ability to relate well with college students. Good people and communication skills are a must along with the ability to resolve conflict. Some experience in college housing either as a student or employee is desirable.

Must be enrolled at all times in a graduate program at an accredited institution.

The graduate assistant will receive room, board, and a $7,000 stipend for graduate courses. The graduate assistant position is 1-year position with the option to renew for a 2nd year.
