The Director of Women’s Basketball Operations will report directly to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and oversee all aspects of a Division I Intercollegiate Basketball Program.

Essential Functions

Oversees scheduling, recruiting, travel coordination, budget management, academics, compliance and fundraising for the entire program.

Demonstrates effective organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to analyze and interpret policy and procedural guidelines to resolve problems and questions specific to collegiate athletic teams.

Abides by the Code of Ethics as set forth by the University of Texas at El Paso and the University of Texas System.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and compliance with NCAA Rules and Regulations, including attendance of NCAA Rules Seminars, and timely completion of all NCAA forms and requests for information.

Proficiency with all Microsoft Office software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.

Complies with all State and University policies.

Some travel required.

Other duties may be assigned.
