The Director of Women’s Basketball Operations reports directly to the Women’s Basketball Head Coach and is responsible for: managing team travel and all team related schedules; arranging intersession and holiday meals for student athletes; enhancing the academic and personal growth of the student athletes through academic advising and student life; assisting with athletic recruitment by serving as liaison with compliance; evaluation and editing of game video as well as video exchange; administrative duties including procurement, fund raising, and outreach.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience at the collegiate level in sports operations. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, effective written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently without direct supervision. Must have advanced degree, or training and work experience at a level which equates to an advanced degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with a NCAA Division I basketball program and at and at least one year of directly related experience. Knowledge of NCAA and Big South Conference regulations. Advanced degree in a related field, or training and work experience at a level that equates to an advanced degree.
