Responsibilities
- Significant responsibility in (but not limited to) these areas: foster meaningful relationships and build trust with student-athletes through intentional and planned interactions. Coordinate and implement programs and initiatives focused on the development of the student-athletes in order to succeed in all aspects of their college experience, including promoting healthy behavior and effective lifestyle choices and helping student-athletes prepare for a successful life after college basketball. Serve as a mentor and resource for student-athletes seeking advice. Connect with the coaching staff on methods to improve on-court student-athlete performance and their overall skill-sets.
- Contribute in several administrative and operational areas of the program including but not limited to: Assist in recording and reporting student-athlete information such as team rosters, travel rosters, training data, awards information. Assist with all aspects of team travel to include charter flight coordination, the team hotel meal and meeting rooms, guest rooms, ground transportation and team meals. Assist with the preparation and day-to-day operations of summer Women’s Basketball camps.
- Develop collaborative relationships with Texas Athletics and University departments to refer and provide resources to student-athletes on individual needs, as appropriate. Collaborate with Student Services staff to enrich the student-athlete experience through the coordination of programs designed to develop and enhance their personal, professional and life skills. Assist with coordinating student-athlete speaking engagements and community service program for the team.
- Assists the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the Associate Head Women’s Basketball Coach, and the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coaches, as assigned.
- Liaison with compliance officer to ensure compliance with all Big XII and NCAA rules and regulations. Ensure all assigned tasks are in compliance with University, Big XII Conference, and NCAA rules. Responsible for adhering to University, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations while supporting the core values of intercollegiate athletics.
- Drive a UT or rental vehicle on and off campus.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree. Professional experience as Women’s Basketball staff member in the areas of player development or operations. Experience with NCAA Division I Intercollegiate Athletics Women’s Basketball programs. Excellent interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor. Demonstrated commitment to The University of Texas Intercollegiate Athletics Core Values: Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, Diversity, Creativity, Accountability and Loyalty. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a student athlete in collegiate athletics.
