Purpose

Support the head coach by serving as a program analyst, assisting with recruiting and representing the Women’s Basketball Team during community events.

Essential Functions

Serve as program analyst for Women’s Basketball team, including reviewing game film study and players clips. Assist with basketball philosophy development, game preparation and scouting thoughts. Attend practices and games. Assist staff with skill development ideas. Coordinate special situation-offensive study. Assist with the coordination of official and unofficial visits to campus by prospective student-athletes. Assist with hand notes, phones calls and text messages. Perform film study on recruits and study rankings. Represent and speak on behalf of the Women’s Basketball program during local and clinic events.

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degree. Three years of professional experience in NCAA Division I Intercollegiate Athletics basketball programs. Excellent interpersonal and team skills. Strong communication skills. This position is designated as a Responsible Employee, pursuant to Title IX and University policy. Responsible Employees have a duty to promptly report incidents as per policy to the University Title IX Coordinator or Deputy Title IX Coordinators. Responsible Employees are not confidential reporting resources. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree. Professional experience supporting an NCAA Division I team with recruiting and player development. At least five years of experience in NCAA Division I Intercollegiate Athletics basketball program.
