Director of Operations Women’s Basketball – Texas Arlington

Assist with the administration of a successful Division I women’s basketball program. Responsibilities include managing all day-to-day operations and team travel for the basketball program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Organize, check classes and monitor all team study halls. Coordinate all team travel. Organize, promote and administer basketball camp. Setup for practices and games (must coordinate student-assistants). Video exchange (upload games and download games of upcoming opponents). Plan and coordinate all community service events and will work closely with marketing team for scheduling events and team activations. Data entry for Jump Forward and TeamSync. Supervise and direct the clerical assistant, athletic trainer, strength and conditioning coach. Recruit, manage and supervise student-assistants. Monitor incoming student-athlete’s admissions, financial aid, housing, medical and all other necessary paperwork before classes begin. Oversee ball boy game-day program. Travel with team and assist with travel logistics compliance: practice logs and update compliance documents. Assist with budgeting. Assist with official and unofficial visits. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree. Two (2) years of basketball coaching experience or two (2) years of experience as a student-athlete participating in college basketball or two (2) years of basketball administrative experience or the equivalent experience.
Master’s degree. Three (3) years of collegiate basketball program administrative support experience.
