Description: | Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist the Head Coach in the daily operation of the Women’s Basketball program. The position primarily will have responsibility for team travel, scheduling of events and practices, game day activities, summer camps, alumni relations and compliance records. What your key responsibilities will be: Women’s Basketball Office Department Liaison: Direct contact for Athletic Administration, Academic Services, Training Table, Equipment Staff, Training Room, Strength and Conditioning, Team Compliance, Ticket Office, Business Office, Housing, Conferences and Events, and all issues related to the Women’s Basketball program (e.g. ordering equipment, scheduling facilities, dealing with budget issues). Team Travel and Game Day Operations: Oversee team itineraries, transportation, lodging, meals, practice schedules, player pass list, passports, contracts and related requirements for departmental travel. Responsible for reconciling receipts for team travel, coaches travel and recruiting travel as well as to navigate through the CU expense system. Summer Camp Director: This position will ensure that camps run smoothly. Duties include hiring and payment of coaches, coordinating dormitory accommodations and meals and handle accounting and budgetary issues. Recruiting Program Support: Plan, arrange, and assist in executing recruiting visits on campus for prospective student athletes. Special Events and Community Service: Plan and oversee all special events and functions related to the Women’s Basketball program including alumni events and community service. NCAA Compliance: Responsible for securing, reviewing and submitting the appropriate and required compliance documentation as it relates to countable athletically related activities (CARA), official and unofficial campus visits in addition to occasional meal, pre/post camp documentation and the like. |
