To coordinate the video aspects of the Women’s Basketball program consistent with the policies of Miami University, the NCAA, and other appropriate governing bodies (i.e. Mid-American Conference). This position reports to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

This position specifically supports the mission of the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by assisting in institutional compliance with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

Participates in the administration and organization of the Women’s Basketball program to include:

• Develops and maintains film exchange agreements with opponent programs for the purposes of mutual scouting, including capturing all exchange films and creating video reports and cut-ups.
• Develops and maintains video equipment, tapes, and peripheral equipment/supplies and researches/assesses new videographic methods and technology to make recommendations as appropriate.
• Construction of a video recruiting library for the use by all coaches
• Coordinates the work of a staff videographer and student employees engaged in day-to-day filming and processing activates.
• Coordinate all video operations during team travel, to include set-up meeting rooms, make exchange for opponent video, setup and break down equipment, live and post-game editing
• Edits film developed in-house, as well as film developed by opponent programs for the purpose of scouting and self-scouting; edits season film for the purposes of play study.
• Create video reports and cut-ups from games and practices for self-scouting purposes
• Create any and all videos for summer camps
• Provides audio/visual requirements, videotaping, and general setup for summer camp
• Create any and all videos for the post-season banquet
• Special Event Planning as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Coach

1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. Demonstrated experience working in a basketball related job
3. Demonstrated understanding of video editing based hardware and software systems
4. Demonstrated knowledge of basic NCAA rules
5. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills while having the ability to work with different coaching needs
6. Ability to travel and work outside normal workday hours
