Description:

 Assist the Assistant Coach/Recruiting Director, Assistant Coaches and Head Coach with the management and execution of all NCAA and SEC permissible recruiting processes for the women’s basketball program.  This position requires work on nights and weekends; travel is not required.

 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide recruiting assistance to the Assistant Coach/Recruiting Director and coaches
  • Manage recruiting related compliance process
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the recruiting data base
  • Responsible for recruiting related social media
  • Oversee and develop film database of prospective student-athletes using Synergy video system
  • Organize prospect evaluations
  • Responsible for gathering recruiting information from publications, web sites, recruiting services and all means of communication
  • Assist in recruiting travel for assistant coaches
  • Participate in regular communication with high schools
  • Create and routinely update recruiting boards
  • Manage all post-signing paperwork
  • All other duties as assigned by the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, Assistant Coach/Recruiting Director and/or Sr. Associate Athletics Director/SWA
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 Required Qualifications:
Education:
 Bachelor’s degree required

Experience:  Minimum of 2 years’ experience in collegiate athletics recruiting at the Division-I level preferred Skills:   Proficient in Microsoft office, Jump Forward recruiting database, and Synergy film system.  Knowledge of SEC and NCAA rules and regulations.
