Spooky Nook Sports is looking for a qualified Basketball Coordinator to assist the Director of Basketball Operations with basketball programming and administrative duties. The Basketball Coordinator will carry a primary focus of growing the Basketball Academy, summer camps and monthly clinics. The secondary focus of the Basketball Coordinator will be to act as the onsite Basketball Department representative for evening and Sunday leagues, Academy practices and as lead instructor for all camps, clinics and private lessons.

This Basketball Coordinator will assist and make recommendations with regards to budgeting, staffing, operations and safety procedures related to Nook Basketball.

Essential Job Functions:

• Recruiting players, coaches and families to the Nook Basketball Academy
• Organize out of season open gyms for the Nook Basketball Academy
• Organize on court logistics for Academy tryouts
• Be present for all evening Academy practices being a single point of contact for coaches and parents those nights
• Recruit coaches and teams for the Nook Summer and Fall Scholastic Leagues
• Be present for league game nights/days being a single point of contact for coaches and parents those nights
• Market the Nook Academy during all league nights/days
• Assist Director of Basketball in Marketing and Networking to grow internal tournaments via phone and in person
• On site administrator for all internal tournaments
• Basketball Manager will coach all monthly clinics, specialty clinics and camps
• Serve as single point of contact for private lessons
• All other duties as assigned
