The Naval Academy Athletic Association has an immediate opening for an Associate Head Coach of Varsity Women’s Basketball.  This position will work collaboratively with the head coach in all aspects of the program.  The position will be responsible for shared organization and instruction of team practices, off-season workouts, and shared scouting/game prep on opponents. The ideal candidate will have extensive recruiting experience to evaluate and recruit academically qualified students to the Naval Academy. This position will also be responsible for scheduling of non-conference games for a balanced schedules each year. Candidate will also perform other duties as assigned.

The qualified candidate will have experience coaching at the college level.  The candidate shall demonstrate the ability to pay attention to detail, enjoy problem solving, and perform duties as assigned.  The successful candidate shall also possess excellent writing and communication skills.  The candidate shall demonstrate a strong work ethic, be organized, be flexible, and communicate extremely well in writing and through technology.
