Assist the Head Coach with the recruitment, administration and coordination of a collegiate Women’s Basketball program which focuses on the total development of the basketball student-athlete;

Support the philosophy, goals and mission of both the university and it’s Athletic program as well as adherence to departmental, university, and NCAA policies and procedures;

Administrative duties including but not limited to budget, travel arrangements, scheduling, ordering of equipment, weekly practices logs;

Will lead our reorganization efforts and all items/events pertaining to alumnae;

Oversee our off campus community service events;

Assist in the future development of basketball alumni and community relations.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;

Experience coaching within a NCAA intercollegiate program;previous successful Women’s basketball playing and/or coaching experience at the college level.

Prior experience with the administration and coordination of a collegiate Women’s basketball program which focuses on the total development of the basketball student-athlete

Must have the ability to develop and maintain a successful recruiting philosophy aimed at the recruitment and retention of highly motivated student- athletes.

Strong organization and communication skills;

Must demonstrate a proven aptitude for coaching as illustrated by a strong work ethic, organizational skills and the ability to interact professionally within the department, the campus, and the Basketball community.

Preferred:

Experience in recruiting.
