The Department of Athletics at Wabash Valley College has an opening for Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach/Fitness Center Attendee.

Candidates will be responsible for carrying out coaching and administrative duties for the women’s basketball program as directed by the head coach including, but not limited to:  practice preparation, scouting,  recruiting, individual skill work, strength and conditioning and academics.

Knowledge of basketball fundamentals and rules, ability to effectively interact with coaches, student-athletes, faculty, staff, students, and general public, excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work within college, conference, and NJCAA rules and regulations required.

Fitness Center Attendee is responsible for the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the Fitness facility, meets and greets the guests of the Fitness Center, supports all fitness programs designed to enhance each member’s fitness experience, and performs other job duties as assigned.
