Assures compliance with all NCAA and Peach Belt Conference rules and regulations; instruction of skill and team strategy; encourages academic achievement of student-athletes; creates an environment that promotes compliance, sportsmanship and civility and oversees all administrative functions of the program.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred and 1+ years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Main responsibilities include instructing and teaching the skills and strategy of the sport
• Assist in recruiting of new prospective student-athletes
• Assist in monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes
• Assist in fundraising and community service efforts
• Assist in team travel arrangements
• Compliance with all NCAA, Conference and Young Harris College rules and policies
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
