Description:

Yale University is a member of the NCAA and Ivy League conference participating at the NCAA Division 1 level. The Assistant Coach of Women’s Basketball assists the Head Coach in formulating teaching and coaching technical aspects of game preparation and strategy for Women’s Basketball.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participate in planning, organizing and execution of preseason and season practices. Assist in the development of conditioning programs. Provide input as to the evaluation of the athletes’ performance and potential against team. Ensure the peak performance of athletes during games. Participate in the recruitment of prospective student athletes. Participate in the evaluation and selection of a varsity team. Participate in the planning for alumni events including fund raising and other special functions.
