Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Perform responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach including but not limited to: coaching, recruiting, practice planning, opponent scouting, game scheduling, team travel etc.
  • Perform other details or any other assignment by the Athletic Director
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of NCAA, Southern Conference, and institutional rules and complies accordingly
  • Instructor of PE may be required

Collateral Responsibilities:

  • Participation in fundraising activities through the Terrier Club
  • Acceptance of service on college committee
  • Membership and participation in professional organizations
  • Attendance at convocations, graduations, etc.

Supervision:

The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach reports directly to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
