Willamette University, an NCAA Division III institution and member of the Northwest Conference is accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month assistant coach for its women’s basketball program. Responsibilities include assisting the head coach in all facets of a competitive NCAA athletic program including but not limited to effectively recruiting qualified student-athletes; assisting with all aspects of practice and game preparation, including on-court coaching and individual player skill development, opponent scouting, and film breakdown; assisting with the day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks. Position responsibilities must be completed in accordance with the Department of Athletics, University, NWC, NCAA, and other related association rules and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience coaching and/or playing at the college or equivalent level required. The successful candidate must possess computer skills, recruiting capabilities, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.  Must have a valid driver’s license.
