Western Colorado University is seeking candidates for Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a full-time & full-benefits, 12-month position. Qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree required; Collegiate playing experience and/or coaching experience and a working knowledge of RMAC and NCAA regulations are preferred. It is also preferred that the candidate have experience in recruiting and coaching at the college level. Candidate must have sound written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to athletic and academic success.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the Head Basketball Coach in the day-to-day operations of a Division II program; ensure that the Basketball program demonstrates a commitment to academics and to maintain compliance with NCAA, RMAC, Western Colorado University, and State of Colorado rules and regulations; recruit student-athletes for Western Colorado University; promote Western Colorado Athletics through functions and events; run summer camps; and perform additional duties as assigned by the University.
