The qualified candidate will assist the head coach in maintaining a highly competitive NAIA basketball program to include the recruitment of prospective scholar-athletes, practice planning and coaching, organization and in-game coaching. Will support student-athletes excellence by encouraging academic progress towards graduation. This position is a 10 month position beginning  August 1.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with scouting, recruiting, and retention of student-athletes.
• Assist with the development of team strategy and analyze performance of student-athletes
• Help operate a successful program within NAIA and Association of Independent Institutions rules and regulations.
• Assist with organizing and practice planning

DESCRIPTION

Ideal positon for recent graduate or someone that is looking to gain experience at the collegiate level. The candidate will report directly to the head coach and will be involved in all aspects of managing the Women’s Basketball program. The position will come with stipend, possibility of teaching courses in the Health & Physical Education Department depending on degree and experience.
