Position Description

Assists with recruiting, developing, selecting, and coordinating all aspects of team sports consistent with institutional, regional and NJCAA regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)

* Assists with Implementing a recruiting program that is consistent with institutional, regional and NJCAA regulations

* Assists with organizing and running clinics

* Assists with practices, tryouts and day-to-day operations of the office

Assists with making travel arrangements and lodging for the team

Assists with driving the athletic bus to and from competitions

Assists in Managing program budget, including equipment purchases, travel and recruiting

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Familiar with conference and NJCAA rules, policies and regulations

Knowledgeable of recruiting processes and have experience recruiting talent for designated NJCAA sport team

Ability to exhibit good interpersonal skills and work well with others

Ability to maintain records accurately and be able to meet deadlines consistently

Demonstrates good organizational skills

Ability to perform normal duties with minimal supervision

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Intermediate skills with MS Office products

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Preferences:

Prior coaching experience
