The Utah Tech Trailblazers have 15 varsity athletic teams that represent the Western Athletic Conference (WAC), located in St. George, Utah, in NCAA Division I intercollegiate sports.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of team travel.
• Player Academic Coordinator with academic support personnel on team study table, and other duties as assigned.
• Recruitment of potential high school, four-year and year-college prospective athletes.
• Scout game film of opponents.
• Accurately evaluate and prepare scouting reports.
• Develop game plan strategies and instruct students on skill development.
• Coordinate campus visits for prospective student athletes.
• Assist head coach with other duties assigned.
• Knowledge of the rules and strategies of basketball. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies and safety measures that are necessary for the Utah Tech University student-athlete to compete at the collegiate level.

Job Requirements

• Collegiate coaching and/or playing experience in the sport of basketball.
• Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training with a college – level program.
• All candidates must show a demonstrated commitment to the Utah Tech University’s mission, vision, and values.
• Knowledge of D1 NCAA Women’s Basketball rules and regulations.
