The University of Virginia’s College at Wise, a four year, public liberal arts college in southwest Virginia, invites applications for the Assistant Coach, Women’s Basketball position. This position reports to the Head Coach – Women’s Basketball and assist with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the intercollegiate women’s basketball program. Additional responsibilities include: program planning; fiscal and personnel management; and community outreach. The successful candidate will be involved in additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and/or Head Women’s Basketball Coach.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of successful basketball coaching experience. A master’s degree and successful collegiate level basketball coaching experience, is preferred. Compensation for this position includes a competitive salary with an excellent benefits package.
