| Description: | Position Description: Instructs players individually or in groups regarding game strategies, techniques and health promotion in preparation for athletic competition; oversees practice sessions providing instruction in areas of difficulty as needed; counsels student athletes on academic, individual, and team goals; and assists in fundraising activities. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Required Qualifications: At least two years of collegiate women’s basketball coaching experience or four years of collegiate playing experience required. Student or volunteer experience will be considered. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, and the University of Northern Iowa. Desirable Qualifications: Division I or II coaching and/or playing experience preferred.
