Assists in the organization, development, and leadership of a highly competitive Division III women’s basketball  program in support of the mission and core values of Union College.

This position is expected to be a one year appointment with the possibility of renewal.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Coaching and Leadership: Assists with recruiting and retaining high achieving student-athletes. Mentors student athletes. Works to enhance the student-athlete experience through training, competition, and leadership development.
2. Program Oversight and Administration: Adheres to NCAA rules and compliance.
3. Team Development and Innovation: Contributes ideas, input, and support to the Union Athletics Department. Seeks out, applies, and shares knowledge of sport trends and innovations in playing and teaching.
4. Collaboration: Partners with campus stakeholders, such as Admissions to coordinate and organize campus visits for recruits, College Relations to assist in coordinating fundraising and alumnae outreach. Builds strong relationships with alumnae, fans, campus partners and the broader community. Connects student-athletes with academic and professional resources.
