Towson University is a Division I member of the Colonial Athletic Association. This position, under the direction of the head coach, teaches and provides instruction in the sport of women’s basketball and assists in the planning, promotion and administration of a quality Division I women’s basketball program. This position is responsible for player development and scouting.

Description
The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach will be responsible for independent planning and implementation of a season long plan for a set group of student-athletes. Participate in all aspects of practice instruction and game coaching. Create scouting reports, as assigned by the head coach, and provide instruction to team related to strategy derived from scouting reports. Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes through the use of technology, conducting contacts and evaluations while adhering to all NCAA regulations. Make recommendations to the head coach and recruiting coordinator related to visits and scholarship offers. Assist with academic support, fundraising activities, community service including communication and outreach to Alumni. Responsible for knowledge and adherence to NCAA rules. Complete recruiting logs and other end of year summaries and correspondence within JUMPForward and in coordination with the compliance office. Performs other duties as assigned by the head coac
