Towson University is a Division I member of the Colonial Athletic Association. This position, under the direction of the head coach, teaches and provides instruction in the sport of women’s basketball and assists in the planning, promotion and administration of a quality Division I women’s basketball program. This position is responsible for player development and scouting and serves as the recruiting coordinator.

Description
Independently plan and implement a season-long plan for a set group of student-athletes; participate in all aspects of practice instruction and game coaching; create scouting reports, as assigned by the head coach, and provide institution to team related to strategy derived from scouting reports; serve as the recruiting coordinator, which includes coordinating recommendations from other coaches on which prospective student-athletes should receive a scholarship offer from Towson University; recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes through the use of technology, conducting contacts and evaluations, organizing official visits, including assigning hosts, creating travel itineraries and managing all budgetary elements of visits while adhering to all NCAA regulations; and assist with academic support, fundraising activities, community service including communication and outreach to Alumni.
